"We just moved to Seattle and were lucky enough to find The Children's Workshop. Our 3 year old wakes up every morning wanting to go to school. The other morning we couldn't find Jake. As it turned out he was already dressed and standing by the front door waiting to go to school!"

School Philosophy

imagination

Children learn best through play and humor. We have an arts based, holistic approach to teaching. The children explore each subject through movement, drama, music and the visual arts. Their own curiosity provides the motivation to learn and to develop the natural self-esteem we believe is in all children. We encourage self-direction but not self-absorption. It is important for children to learn to work together cooperatively and understand their own feelings as well as the feelings of others. In this way, they learn to practice compassion.
