Class Descriptions

The Threes...THE ADVENTURE BEGINS!

In this relaxed class, children learn to share and cooperate as they play. They explore the wonders of nature (dinosaurs, bees, spiders and trees, among many others) through art and movement. A fluid daily structure that includes a balance of free play and focused activities encourages listening and increases concentration. The bottom line is that each child grows and learns at their own pace -- and has fun while they are doing it. Children are introduced to letters and numbers with humor and imagination. Your child will develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-12:30

4 thru Pre-K...THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!

In this perfect balance between structure and play, the children are encouraged to stretch and reach as they learn. They learn to write and begin reading as we tap into their natural curiosity. Humor and imagination are key elements in our teaching style. We introduce each new subject using a blend of dramatic play, art and movement. The class is an adventure that never stops. We explore the solar system, volcanoes, rivers and wolves. They also learn about stillness, balance, and focus in our daily practice of yoga. Verbal skills increase as the children talk about their dreams and share experiences in the daily circle. Children learn self-reliance and enter kindergarten eager, capable and confident.
